Grantmaking Overview
The Hupf Foundation provides grants to public charities that support education, healthcare, and community well-being. When evaluating funding requests, the Board considers several factors, including:
How the organization and proposal align with our funding priorities
The measurable impact the contribution will have on the community or population served
The organization’s history of success, impact, and growth
Please review our Areas of Giving to learn more about the types of programs and projects we fund.
The Hupf Foundation is currently accepting requests only from organizations that:
Operate entirely in Colorado, or
Run programs that directly serve Colorado communities.
There is no deadline to apply, and organizations are encouraged to submit requests at any time throughout the year.
How to Apply
Step 1: Submit a Formal Grant Request
If your organization’s mission aligns with our areas of giving, please submit a formal grant request. Your request should include:
Your organization’s mission and an overview of programs and services
The number of individuals or communities served
The specific amount requested and the intended use of funds
Relevant financial information and current funding sources
Grant guidelines can be found here.
Step 2: Board Review
The Board reviews grant requests on a weekly basis. Each request will be approved, deferred, or declined, and you will be notified of the Board’s decision or if additional information is needed.
While there is no application deadline, requests received by December 31 will be considered for that fiscal year.
